Volkan GİRGİN
Volkan Girgin was born in 1974 in Istanbul. He is a scriptwriter and an actor. He studied at ITU State Conservatory and Anadolu University Business Administration Department, and completed his master's degree in Kültür University Communication Design.
In 1993, he appeared in front of the camera for the first time in the TV series "Umut Taxi". Since 1995, he has worked as a sketch and copywriter for TV programs, stage shows.
He worked as a scriptwriter for the television series Yedi Numara, Aile Saadeti, Yabancı Gelin, Gurbette Aşk, Canım Benim and Yüzyıllık Mühür. He wrote films titled Yeni Hayat, Zengin Kısmet, Rüzgar, Organik Aşk.
He played in various theater companies, plays such as ;‘Yavrukuşlar’ ‘Kuvayi Milliye’ ‘Cyrano De Bergerac’ ‘Havadan Sudan’ ‘Markalı Hava’ ‘Generaller, Savaş ve Barbekü’.
He starred in the long-running TV series Kaygısızlar, Ruhsar, Yedi Numara, Pembe Patikler and Muhteşem Yüzyıl. He starred in the films Aşk ve Devrim, Bu Son Olsun, Bizum Hoca, Yeni Hayat, Zengin Kısmet, Rüzgar.
He hosted the programs ‘Tam Bana Göre’ and ‘Arife Tarif’.
In 2020, he wrote and directed the short film "Konuşma". "Konuşma" has participated in many international festivals and won two honorable mentions. Volkan Girgin continues his work as a scriptwriter and an actor.
