Tunahan PEKDEMİR

Born in Kocaeli in 1992, Tunahan Pekdemir is an Art Director and Creative Director working across film, television, music, and visual arts. He graduated from Sakarya University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Sculpture, where he was awarded the International Industrial Design Award in two consecutive years and served as a faculty assistant for three years. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Modern Art and Visual Design.

Beginning his career as a freelance film poster designer, Pekdemir has developed creative projects spanning poster design, title sequences, visual identities, album artwork, and creative direction. In 2015 and 2016, his alternative film posters created for the international AMP community were recognized among the world’s best alternative poster designs.

His notable film and television projects include the title sequence and logo design for Netflix’s Chokehold (Boğa Boğa), directed by Onur Saylak; project development and poster design for Ercan Kesal’s Ayazmanın Yılanı; poster design for Derûn, directed by Müge Uğurlar; and creative visual development for Reflection (Akis), directed by İlker Savaşkurt. His recent works include poster campaigns for TOD’s Var Bunlar Season 2 and Her Şey Mümkün, HBO Max’s MIRA, as well as poster designs for Cam Sehpa (Can Evrenol), Deccal 3 (Özgür Bakar), and Aşk ve Yemek (Müge Uğurlar).

In the music industry, he has created visual works for international artists including Tom Odell, Chet Faker, and Black Coffee, alongside leading Turkish artists such as Semicenk, Hadise, Göksel, Selda Bağcan, Adamlar, Merve Özbey, Kamuran Akkor, Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz, İkilem, and Uğur Ateş. He has collaborated with Sony Music Turkey, Avrupa Müzik, Eva Management, and numerous independent artists and productions.

Among his recent achievements, he led the complete creative design and production management of Semicenk’s Karışık Kaset 2 Concert Tour, overseeing concept development, stage design, visual world creation, and video production processes.

Alongside his independent practice, Pekdemir continues to provide creative consultancy and visual design services. He currently serves as Art Director at Yer Creative Design Agency and as Creative Art Director at Famelog Agency and Eva Management.
