M. Çağatay TOSUN
He was born on November 23, 1978 in İzmir. He graduated from İstanbul University Faculty of Communication, Radio Television and Cinema Department. In 2005, he started directing with “Aşk Yolu” TV Series starring Tuba Büyüküstün, Bülent İnal, Serap Aksoy, Seda Akman, Avni Yalçın and Teoman Kumbaracıbaşı. He also received great admiration for his series called Köprü and the movie “Vali” adapted from this series, which he wrote the screenplay of the movie in 2008.
After his second movie ‘Derin Düşün-ce’ he continued his carreer with “Suskunlar” TV Series in 2012. In 2013 he directed “Merhamet” TV Series starring Özgü Namal and İbrahim Çelikkol, which was adapted from Hande Altaylı’s book Kahperengi.
Tosun, who has been in the director's chair of many successful series such as Magnificent Century: Kösem, Love:Bitter, Broken Wings, directed the movie Can Feda in 2018. Then, our successful director, who took on the directorship of the series Ramo in 2020 and Lone Wolf in 2022, lastly went behind the camera for the series Wild Heart and Bad Blood.
