Gamze ÖZER
She was born on 8 July 1975 in İzmir. She is a graduate of Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Theater, Dramatic Writing Department. She started her professional writing career in 1994 as a columnist for a local newspaper. In 1995, her poetry book was published by Beşeri Yayınları under the name of "Güz Aldanışları". She took part as a dramaturge in the short play Elfi, which received the Suat Taşer Best Short Play Award in 1995.
Özer, who entered the television world with the script of the TV series Zeynep, was the scriptwriter of the productions such as Kedi, Yüzleşme, Kuzenlerim, Kınalı Kar, Estağfurullah Yokuşu. In 2003, she was the scriptwriter of the TV series Sihirli Annem and the series was a big success for 7 seasons, and won awards such as the Golden Butterfly Jury Special Prize, RTUK Accurate and Beautiful Turkish Use Award and the Best Brand Creation Award of the Year. After writing the script for TV series such as Bütün Çocuklarım, Adak, Annem, Beni Unutma, Dila Hanım, Hayatımın Rolü, she wrote the series Sihirli Annem, which was re-adapted for the internet in 2021.
